I can testify to this. I was nice - not just civil, but downright nice - to my ex-friend the other day in WoW… and it felt good. I was kind of faking it at first… I mean, because it’s still kind of uncomfortable for me to be around her online… but there are times now when it feels like nothing happened between us at all. I’m not saying I’m very courageous just for saying a few nice words with miles separating us or whatever… but it did take some bravery… and I’m proud of myself for having done that.
